IdVH is a parallel project runs alongside with HAPI, exploring the authenticity of color and pushing the reality of color even further.
IdVH — the name itself is a reflection of HAPI. IdVH originates from HAPI artworks created by Artist Hang since 2020. Through the use of colored-pencils fundamental medium, HAPI depicts everyday colour in contrast with a protagonist in tears. A great deal of time has been dedicated to trying effects with distinctive strokes and blending approaches, in order to achieve impactful texture and shade for each piece of artwork. HAPI aims to draw our relationship closer to the inner and deeper world around us.
With the introduction of NFT is when virtual reality becomes majority part of our living, and when our living reality becomes virtual reality. This is a pivotal phase to examine the meaning of “virtual” and “reality” in this digital era, through transforming “real” color to “virtual” color, eventually it is our decision, the mass, to determine the "reality.
IdVH equals HAPI. They are the same, and they are not the same. They are reality, and they are the virtual reality. Some remain homogeneous to the original, while some shine brighter and more vibrant than the originals.
